Parken Sport & Entertainment (Parken) needed to upgrade Microsoft Dynamics NAV to a newer version. In addition to future-proofing their ERP solution, Parken wanted to anchor the use of NAV within their organization and improve the reporting foundation.

Future-proof standardized ERP solution
Parken had received an upgrade offer from another consultancy. When they heard about the collaboration their subsidiary had with Corpital, they requested an offer. To their delight, Corpital was able to deliver a proposal that halved the price of the original offer due to Corpital's agile approach to projects.
Parken's existing NAV license was also entangled in a complex license structure. Corpital helped Parken through several struggles with Microsoft before finally succeeding in adapting the license to Parken's needs. As a result, Parken saved a significant amount of money annually on ongoing costs (approx. half price).
We were positively surprised that the project costs could be reduced so significantly. Corpital was good at identifying areas where we ourselves could help bring the costs down.
Parken managed data conversion themselves
Instead of upgrading and converting the old ERP system, it was decided to implement a new and more standardized system to further optimize the entire process.
Parken chose to handle the cleaning and importing of data into the new NAV themselves. This went very well—of course, with expert instruction and guidance from Corpital. This also allowed Parken to keep the number of hours down.

Templates replaced costly development hours
Parken and Corpital also decided to save valuable development hours related to developing their own templates, e.g., sales invoices, sales credit memos, reminders, and account statements.
Based on standard templates, Parken reviewed its needs and specified minimal layout adjustments. The advantage of using standard document templates was that they were already adjusted to common Danish conditions. From these templates, several different document layouts could be created, which could be called from the same NAV accounting system.
Emphasis on training to anchor the solution in the organization
Corpital offers three types of user training (knowledge transfer, super-user training, and workshops).
In general, we have very good experience with a "train-the-trainer" process. Here, selected super-users are trained, and the rest of the organization is subsequently trained by the super-users as needed. This way, knowledge and ownership are anchored within the organization.
Parken already had fundamentally good NAV knowledge, so the focus was placed on the new user interface and new functionality in the solution. The training was conducted in Parken's test environment, so the training took place with relevant data examples.
Corpital was truly skilled at asking the right questions, challenging us, and we collaborated on identifying what could elevate our business. We now have a technologically strong platform that is being utilized to a much greater extent in our organization. Furthermore, the anchoring through super-user training was a truly positive bonus to a good process.
